Bringing my parents along with us and also my bestie and her sister.

Hop on the cruise and the first thing we did was to settle in to our rooms! We got balcony rooms so there is a nice bed with sofa for chilling and also a lovely balcony which overlooks the sea!

After which we walk around to explore the surrounding of the cruise!

Serious about food!

Overall, the journey and the experience was great, but as Sharize is still super young, she cant go for much of the cruise activity planned for the kids. so with that I guess we will probably have a cruise getaway again in the future when she is older!

Baby S Learns to Swim!!

Baby S started swimming at 4 months old. Seeing how she loves the water and happy and excited she is each time during a swim session was what makes us decided to sign her up for swim lessons.

There are many swim school for babies now; Happy Fish Swim School, Aqua Bambinos, Little Swim School, Little Splashes Swim School, MoovSwim and so on. Like all things we do, we did our research, read the reviews did some key comparison before making our decision.

Some key consideration are, LOCATION, Class size, Coaches Reviews, Price and Lesson Progression. After comparing these, we decided to go with Aqua Bambinos, who have 2 locations, one in Seletar Hill and the other in Serangoon Gardens.

Baby S started her lesson in Term 4 of 2017, till date, we have done almost two months of lessons and it is really amazing to see how she picks up different skills and learn the different instructions!

Here are some photos to share!

Will update and share more another time!! =)

Yoga in the Park!

Been trying Yoga on weekends to help get back in shape after having a baby. Also try to work out more as i think i need to stay fit for my baby!

Been joining a group at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park which is Akash Yoga for their weekend yoga in the park.

So far yoga been great and it helps me with my fitness and working out more and more slowly.

So here are some photos of what i with Akash Yoga. =)

So some of what i do with them. Anyway, many people think that yogo don't sweat much, but if you really properly engage your core muscles 60 minutes of Yoga will have you sweating like rain.

So yup this will definitely be in my work out routine as i love how it helps stretch out my body, keep my flexible and helps prevent injuries.

Yoga away if you may...

Quincy Staycation 2017

As an educator, I get 3 break away from work each year. For each of the break I always think that it is essential for me to break away because very much of being an educator means that my brain never stop thinking about work and it never stop worrying for my students. Therefore, being away helps me stay abreast and refresh my mind and mental well-being so that it helps me work better when i return.

So on holidays that I don't fly or leave Singapore, I will make a point to head off for a staycation as well.

Staycation is great as we hardly visit much places in Singapore as our fast-pace lifestyle makes us very much heartland bounded. Therefore, being away for Satycation allows us to be tourist in our own country.

Thus, this time round, we stayed at Quincy Hotel by Far East Hospitality. A club style hotel with all day refreshment and weekend fun!

Here are some photos of our stay!
