Rainbow Cottage Cafe!

Stanley and I are hardly cafe hopping people but when a tiny cafe pop up near our parents' place we had to try it! We do notice that with the cafe-ing trend going crazy in Singapore, more cafe are popping up in heartland areas and it draws young crowds to chill in the heartland during the weekends. Not bad at all!

So yesterday, Stanley, his mummy and I hop by to Rainbow Cottage Cafe @ 452 Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 #01-1777. The tiny cafe is children friendly with a play corner where kids can play! And best of all, it live up to it name of being a rainbow cottage, with all the colourful creation and lovely environment to just sit relax and enjoy a cup of tea (not a coffee person)!

I tried their waffle, rainbow cakes and earl grey lavender drink! My mother-in-law had long black coffee. I would say their price is very affordable; yeah to heartland cafe! I think during this time, it was a good to spend time with Stanley mum and also give us time to chat, know each other better and allow his mum to chill and relax a bit!

So here is some picture from the little cafe!

Waffle and ice-cream with my tea!

Rainbow cake!

What is more happy than rainbow cakes?

Always love a rainbow cake as it is soooo colourful and it is really a surprise cake when you cut into it! So yup! This happy cake was moist and not too sweet and artificial. So great taste! Love it.

Will head back to chill more to try the other rainbow items!
