Vietnam 2015; Hue to Hoian {Le Rider Tour}

Day 3 of Central Vietnam Trip 2015.

Hue to Hoi An! We travel from Hue to Hoi An by Le Family Rider Tour, they are a family business which does tour using bike! They are very experience riders and have a group of male and female riders to bring you through the tour, if you are a bike rider yourself, they do provide bike rental for you to follow their tour too! This is a first for Stanley and me as we hard bike in Singapore and decided to try this tour!

The tour cost 58USD for us, if you are a bike rider it only cost 48USD for the bike and the tour guide and also a lunch and transfer of your luggage to Hoi An!

As our day begin with it being rainy, they tour guides came prepared with rain coat and boots! Our guide and rider were Hai (Stanley's Rider) and Ky (my Rider).

We got dress before heading off!

On the way!

Our first stop was the village in Hue, actually is the same one that we visited yesterday during the city tour, but with a different guide you get a different perspective and you also note different thing!

A temple on the way to the village! Did not spot it yesterday when we headed the same route in a car, but with a bike you see the surrounding more clearly!

Then we are on the road again! The cool thing about being on a bike throughout the trip is that we see and experience the surrounding better! Sight, smell and all! Love this experience and it really awaken all your senses!

We took a cold dip in the spring! it was indeed super cold! FREEZING! but cool!

After washing up at the spring! we change and got on our way again! enjoyed the spring a lot especially the dip in the cold water, there was another couple visiting the area and their thought we were crazy to swim in the freezing water!

  1. I really think this is a great travel experience. I also want to drive from Hue to Hoi An as you are. These two ancient cities are very close together and have a lot of traditional cultural values for us to explore. In Hoi An do not know you have visited Cu Lao Cham?
