Hue to Hoi An! We travel from Hue to Hoi An by Le Family Rider Tour, they are a family business which does tour using bike! They are very experience riders and have a group of male and female riders to bring you through the tour, if you are a bike rider yourself, they do provide bike rental for you to follow their tour too! This is a first for Stanley and me as we hard bike in Singapore and decided to try this tour!
The tour cost 58USD for us, if you are a bike rider it only cost 48USD for the bike and the tour guide and also a lunch and transfer of your luggage to Hoi An!
As our day begin with it being rainy, they tour guides came prepared with rain coat and boots! Our guide and rider were Hai (Stanley's Rider) and Ky (my Rider).

Our first stop was the village in Hue, actually is the same one that we visited yesterday during the city tour, but with a different guide you get a different perspective and you also note different thing!

Stanley being on a bike today felt adventurous and decided to try his first Tung Vit Lon aka Balut Duck Egg! Sooooo Exotic!
I just watch in awe!!! Eeeewwww... And our guide actually got him 2 and he finished both! He even said it taste nice, kind of like crab meat.
Then we are on the road again! The cool thing about being on a bike throughout the trip is that we see and experience the surrounding better! Sight, smell and all! Love this experience and it really awaken all your senses!

After which, we head to a fishing village to check our the little boats!

As it was rainy season in viet, the road flood and so we ride through the flooded road! Some may say that the rain dampen our holiday spirit but for us the rain makes this trip a little more fun and exciting!!

Hai Van Tunnel! (NEW tunnel!)
We continued our way towards Hoi An through the Elephant Spring! The Elephant Spring used to have lots of elephants before the illegal elephant hunting kill them all for their precious teeth! Today, there is no longer elephant there, but the spring is still there and it is clear and cool!

We took a cold dip in the spring! it was indeed super cold! FREEZING! but cool!
After washing up at the spring! we change and got on our way again! enjoyed the spring a lot especially the dip in the cold water, there was another couple visiting the area and their thought we were crazy to swim in the freezing water!

After lunch we continue to Hai Van Pass up the mountain! The mountain bring us up to 500m above sea level!

On the way, from Hai Van Pass to Da Nang, you can see the surrounding quickly changes from rural to urban city! Da Nang is where many rich of Vietnam live!

After Marble Mountain, we headed to Hoi An! Hoi An is 30min ride off from Da Nang City. There at Hoi An there is a UNESCO Heritage Site which is the Hoi An Ancient Town! Here, we ended our Le Rider Tour where they sent us and our luggage to our Hoi An Hotel; Golden River Hotel, which is next to Hoi An Ancient Town!

We ended the day early as we have another adventure the next day! But really enjoyed the Tour with Le Family Riders very much and this will have a special memory in our heart! If you are heading to Central Vietnam do try out their Tour!
I really think this is a great travel experience. I also want to drive from Hue to Hoi An as you are. These two ancient cities are very close together and have a lot of traditional cultural values for us to explore. In Hoi An do not know you have visited Cu Lao Cham?
