10 Tips for Preparing Overseas Pre-Wedding Photoshoot

We will be heading to Taiwan on 13 June for our wedding Photoshoot, the photoshoot package is one which we purchased 3 years ago. After much anticipation, the time is finally coming for us to head there!

So what to prepare before flying over? Here are 10 tips which we hope will be helpful for future brides and grooms!

1) Air Tickets
Buy early and look out for cheap deal online!

2) Accommodation
It is good to book early for this too so that you dont worry when u are there. However, also do find out as some hotels or minsu dont accept bookings that are too early. Will be good if you can get your bridal place in Taiwan to help you out. 90% of the time they are really helpful and always willing to help!

3) Know your style (both man and lady)
Know the type of dress style you like, look at others photoshoot and also magazine for inspirations. Search online for sample as well.
Also know the style of photos you like, some like very natural kind of photos, while for me i prefer it to be more bubbly and cute. Knowing your style allows you to prep whatever props you need for the shoot!

4) Facial & Ampoule
Go for facial at least 2 weeks before the shoot, so that if you have sensitive skin and all it give ur skin time to heal and you will be pretty and ready for the shoot. Guys can go for facial too. Stanley when for facial with me twice prior to the photoshoot. =) Bonding time and also pretty time!
DO NOT try any new product 1 week before the shoot.

Also bring your own Ampoule if you have! Else the bridal place will charge you extra for it. At about $25 per bottle.

5) Waxing and Nails
Ladies, if you need to wax do it a few day before. Also if you want your hands and nails to be featured you can do your nails a day or two before as well.

6) Hair
Wash your hair before the makeup in the morning but do not use any hair mask or conditioner as you may have problem holding certain hairstyle. Also it is good to have longer hair so that it give them more to do with your hair. more style. So if you need to trim do so at least a month before!

7) Underwear
Bring a pair of Nu-bra, try to go with nude colour for all! Wear seamless underwear, nude colour too!

8) Props
Know the props you need or want; things that is of significant to you both and also discuss with the bridal place to see what props they have. Bring along stuff that u want to capture in the photos as well! Like wooden letters, hearts, chalkboard or so on!

9) Shoes 

Ladies bring flats that is comfy for long dresses, and nice heels for short dresses. 

Men bring a pair of black leather shoe, bridal places usually provide white shoes, but do check before hand! 

10) Clothes

Ladies wear a front button shirt for the makeup session. 

Also if your package dont give you a lot of outfit, you may want to bring some casual wear! But if you have 6 outfit each (bride & groom) like us, then you dont need to! =)
