Donlim T06 Bread Maker!

During the double 11 sales in 2015, Stanley and I brought a Bread Maker from Taobao, and so this set us on a bread making journey and we decided to share some of the recipe here!

When I first wanted to buy the bread maker Stanley asked so what is the ROI {return of investment}, basically he was asking if i really needed one. Either way, I decided to commit to making bread since we have it for breakfast everyday! So yup, been trying the bread maker for about 2 weeks or so now and I would say, it is really easy and use and the bread taste GREAT! So why not?

Besides Taobao, you can easily buy this same bread maker from Qoo10, but in you are interested in getting it from Taobao, I have hyper link it above! The Donlim bread maker have a total of 18 functions! It can make bread, jam and even kimchi!

So how does this bread maker works? Basically, you just put all the ingredients in and let the machine work the magic! Simple as that! So all you need to know is the recipe and place all of them into the bread maker!

So for this post, I will be sharing that of the white bread and wholemeal bread. Both in 450g and 700g!

White bread recipe

Wholemeal bread recipe

You basically put the ingredients in the order of above; wet ingredient below, dry  ingredient above to cover the wet. For sugar, put it in a corner before you make a well in the middle for the yeast. Once done, just set the bread maker to function 1 and the correct mass and let it work!

The recipe are given in Cups and spoons measurement, but if you prefer to have them in grams, you can convert the recipe using the online converter!

All the ingredient can be brought in Phoon Huat; RedMan Singapore! So here are some stuff i got from Phoon Huat!

Bread Flour

Wholemeal flour

Instant Yeast

Bread on cooling rack!

Fresh wholemeal bread!

Fresh White Bread!

From the bread maker itself!

Compared to those bread you buy in the super market, this is more dense and thicker (maybe because of the way i cut it! But it also is surely without additives and thus healthier! For those who have a break maker, do try the recipe and let me know if it is great?

Vietnam 2015; Da Nang

Day 6 of Central Vietnam 2015.

Day 6 continues at Da Nang, a Cab from Hoi An to Da Nang cost about 350,000 dong (SGD$23). So we took a cab from Hoi An to our Airport at Da Nang; Happy Day Hotel, beside Han River.

So after checking into the hotel, we had our usual rest before heading out!

We walked 1.5km from our hotel to Big C @ Parkson Plaza.
There, our shopping begins and we got lots of stuff!!

Stanley carrying all the items back to the hotel in out 1.5km walk back!
A simple act of love! He refused to let me carry any of the stuff!

At night we head to the highly recommended seafood place @ Quan Be Anh for dinner! Seafood is super fresh and super tasty! Communication will be a problem but they have a lady who can speak some chinese which helps a lot!

Fresh live seafood!

Must have Clam Soup, since Da Nang is actually City of Clam in Chinese so of course we must have the clams here!

Giant Prawn which is almost like lobster!

Sea Snails!

Veggie!

Sotong!

It is a feast!

After eating way toooooo much, we headed back to han river for a night walk!

hmmmm.. the dream is to always hold hands and have night walk the rest of our life!

Ended the day with Aroi Milk Tea from Aroi Dessert Cafe!

Day 7 of Central Vietnam 2015.

Last 2 days in Vietnam is pretty chill and relax, did not really plan much, so is just go with flow and see what we wanna do! Today, Stanley planned the day to be our date day! So it is all up to him!

We started the day visiting Han Market!

All the local produce!

Map of Han Market is like a mini JJ in BKK!

After that, we visit Cham Museum!

Ticket cost 40,000 dong each person (SGD$2.67)

The History of Cham Island!

Having Visited Cham Museum, we took a cab down to Lotte Mart. There you can get Korean, China and Japanese Imported goods!

However, when we reach lotte mart, we saw a cinema and decided that it will be cool to watch a movie together overseas! So.... we did! We were worried that the show will be in Viet, so ponder for very long before we decided! We tried asking with lots of sign language and whatever english they could understand. We found out that for English Medium shows, PD means it will be in English, LT means it will be in Viet. So we caught the 11.25am show in PD; The good Dinosaurs.

Buying my snacks!

In the cinema!

With my Pop corn!

After the movie, we had lunch in the food court of lotte mart! Going the Local way! There is not much tourist so is just us and all the other locals eating!

We also tried the massage chair!

After a day @ Lotte Mart, we head back to Han River for our Date Night! There we took a walk along Han river before heading to Waterfront for Dinner!

Stanley planned this for a long long time!! He celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary there and surprise me with a necklace he brought from Singapore but was secretly hiding the entire trip! And HOW CAN I NOT KNOW?

I was very surprise and cried! He is sooo sweet!!! And i did not buy him anything!! How Can?? Oh mann. Our plan was to celebrate 29 March and not 13 Dec, as 29 March is the date we got tgt and also out ROM, whereas 13 Dec is our wedding date! Too many dates to celebrate so trying to streamline! But he was still sweet enough to surprise me anyway! Love!

After dinner, we took a walk down the beautiful han river towards Da Nang Souvenirs & Cafe. After which we head for dessert!

The cheapest BR you will ever eat! 19,000 dong (SGD$1.30)

We each have 1!

And I got more Aroi Milk Tea!!

End the night with the fire spitting dragon of the dragon bridge!

Day 8 of Central Vietnam 2015.

Last day in Vietnam before we head back to Singapore!

Our flight back will be at 8pm so we have the entire day again! But we really just wanted to chill! So last day was really simple! We head out late and make our way to Parkson Plaza! There we chilled and cafe around and also had lunch!

After which, we head to Con Market to visit yet another local market, before heading back to the hotel to pack!

Before flying back we had BR again! 19,000 dong still!

Dinner was simple as we just eat at a food court near our hotel before cabbing to the Airport!

We ended our 8 days of fun in Vietnam with our direct flight back to Singapore! It was indeed a great experience with lots of first! And we look forward to our next adventure!
